Recently, we have received help from travellers who came to teach voluntarily. They also helped to spread the word to their people back home. They raised funds to get more desks, more whiteboards, books, pens and other school supplies. As a result we now have 3 classroom areas that run 2 classes each per night, teaching over 100 kids. We host Japanese and Spanish classes too!

Volunteer teacherThe River Garden, a guesthouse across the river, offers their guests the chance to teach the kids as well. We have hosted many travellers here. Their time and donations have made a huge difference, too.

Everybody who wants to help is welcome. I hope more people will come to share their time and English voices with us. I encourage every volunteer to post on this blog too, so that you can learn about their experiences.

If you are interested in volunteering at our schools in Siem Reap, then please first read through LHCCO’s volunteering guide and then register as a LHCCO volunteer.
If you have any questions about volunteering, please send me an e-mail.

My deepest gratitude and blessings to those
who will help us build a stronger school, village and thus a stronger Cambodia,
to those who believe in us
and to those who have already helped.
